ENCATE today published a mapping report that presents an overview of educational policies and practices addressing antisemitism. in the Visegrad Group countries. The report intends to help practitioners and policymakers understand the status quo and coordinate their response.

n November 2021, ENCATE conducted its third network meeting in Brussels. The participants of the meeting, representatives of the member organizations, and guest speakers were excited to meet in person after a long time in which only online meetings were possible. It is no surprise that an in-person gathering helped foster a networking atmosphere, which is hard to come by digitally.
Seval Gülen spoke with lawyer and Avlaremoz writer Betsy Penso on antisemitism and its manifestations in Turkey, anti-Israelism, the role of right-wing, left-wing or Islamic groups, conspiracy theories, the impact of social media, the Holocaust and the fight against antisemitism.
Our 11th ENCATE Lunch Talk was an incredibly informative talk on a subject that concerns us all: hate speech in politics. The talk revolved around the European Liberal Forum´s report “US/THEM Hate Speech at the Service of Politics”
On the 16th of April, we were thrilled to host Milana Meytes, Program Manager at Terraforming, for our ninth Lunch Talk. The Lunch Talk, titled Bridging Historical Narrative with Archival Evidence, dealt with the use of graphic novels as a tool for Holocaust education.
On February 26, we had the pleasure of giving a lunch talk on the topic of “Analysing and adressing antisemitism today. Israel-related antisemitism, conspiracy theories and antisemitic incidents and mindsets at schools.”
