Regional Workshops

ENCATE organizes regional in-situ workshops for its members, educators, activists and other stakeholders to explore ways to overcome antisemitism, racism, homophobia and other forms of discrimination and to improve educational and other prevention approaches. The workshops provide a safe space to discuss regional challenges, promote diversity of knowledge and share experiences.

With a shorter duration and in-person experience, the workshops uniquely provide a specific focus on the different regions of Europe and help explore how organizations foster Jewish life and tackle hate.

To date, in Barcelona and Athens, in collaboration with local partners, specific themes were explored in depth to enhance ways to overcome antisemitism. In Rome, the experiences of LGBTQI+ Jews were addressed in order to promote Jewish life in all its diversity.
