We evaluate the 2020 regarding education addressing antisemitism, together with other practitioners, policymakers, and stakeholders.
Unquestionably, the COVID-19 pandemic will top the list of events
on any almanac of 2020. It had severe effects on daily life, workplace,
economy, politics, and health.
As the civil organizations in ENCATE, we also face significant challenges in our educational work addressing antisemitism and bias.
Besides the challenges of not working in-person with our constituencies, the social issues we tackled turned more complicated –this year bore insane plots like a sinister plan to implant microchips using vaccines. Of course, the same old antisemitic tropes increasingly got their share.
This meeting will be an opportunity to approximate the educational praxis and policies about antisemitism and emphasize the role of ENCATE as a vital partner representing civil society organizations in more than 12 European countries.
